CARDS OF ACKNOWLEDGMENT
This project acknowledged both lives lost to miscarriage and the Miscarriage Association through heartfelt cards.
One in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, yet the experience often goes unspoken. The Miscarriage Association, a charity dedicated to providing support and raising awareness around pregnancy loss, sought a way to break this silence and help those affected feel seen.
The challenge was twofold: how could we acknowledge both the lives lost and the emotional toll miscarriage takes, while also bringing the Miscarriage Association to the forefront of public conversation? Our solution was simple but powerful. We created a set of beautifully designed cards, each with a heartfelt message from women who had experienced miscarriage themselves. The cards were written by women who've been through it, in their handwriting, making each card deeply personal. Inside, recipients found details of the Miscarriage Association's resources and support services.
The impact was far-reaching. The cards were featured on Radio 4, Radio 5 Live, The High Low podcast, and major national press. The campaign didn't just spark conversation; it won critical acclaim, including a Cannes Lion, Campaign Big, and Creative Circle awards.
This project demonstrated how thoughtful, human insight can drive not only awareness but real emotional connection.
