Miscarriage affects one in four pregnancies, yet remains something family and friends often don't know how to acknowledge. The Miscarriage Association needed a way to give people the words they couldn't find themselves, honouring both the lives lost and the emotional toll miscarriage takes.
We created a set of cards that said what family and friends couldn't. Each one carried a heartfelt message written by women who'd been through it, in their own handwriting. Turning private grief into something that could be shared.
The cards reached national conversation through Radio 4, Radio 5 Live, The High Low podcast, and the tabloid and broadsheet press. They went on to win a Cannes Lion, a Campaign Big, a Creative Circle and a Gerety Award.
